THE CHECKING NETWORK PROGRAM
& COURSE OPTIONS

CNU has partnered with Checking Network USA to help individuals who do not have a banking relationship gain access to financial services. We recognize the importance of financial education, particularly for people with little or no banking experience, as the foundation for successful personal money management and lifelong financial practices. As a CNU Student you have two program options.

Online Instruction
Checking Network USA allows you to learn money and deposit account management, good credit and debt practices, and then tests your knowledge to earn a certificate and get a guaranteed checking account. The online instruction, certification and checking account access program uses specific modules from FDIC's Money Smart curriculum. Checking Network USA's online process affords you the convenience of completing your financial education anywhere at anytime and then guarantees you access to a checking account upon successful completion.

The cost for the online program is $60.00.

Classroom Instruction
Individuals who prefer a more hands-on approach to instruction and learning will want to enroll in the CNU facilitated classroom program. Students learn money and deposit account management, good credit and debt practices, and then are tested on their knowledge to earn a certificate of completion and get a guaranteed checking account.

The cost for the classroom program is $45.00.
