SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLASSROOM
FACILITATORS

Welcome to the classroom facilitated section of the Checking Network Program. Some individuals learn quicker in a group environment where interpersonal interactions can help the learning process. As a facilitator, you will need to organize your class, complete student registrations and enter report scores. These activities are done at the Checking Network web site. Your organization will first have to acquire an educator ID number that will allow you and other educators to submit data, print forms, etc.

Once you have this ID number you can enter the class completions section of Checking Network at www.checkingnetworkusa.com/my_class_completions.html

In this section you will find files for printing classroom hard copies of the Financial Skills Assessment, Student Profile and the Final Exam. Students will complete their profile, fill out the financial skills assessment questionnaire and take the final exam in the classroom. When to the class is completed, you will need to enter each student’s profile information, financial skills assessment score and final exam score. When you complete the student’s profile entry, you will receive a Student ID Number for that particular individual’s account. Your student profiles can be set up at the beginning of the class and completed when you enter the financial skills assessment and final exam scores later.

When a course is completed, you will complete a Course Report which will include your name, date, location of the class and the curriculum used. Below this basic information will be fields for you to complete, which includes each students’ ID number and test scores. It will not be necessary to indicate who withdrew from the program or did not pass the exam. Click here to view a Course Report.

Once you submit your course report the completion certificates will be sent to you for each student to use to open an account. Getting people back into the world of banking is an important contribution to our society. Teach them well!
