| Q |
If the classes are after the bank closes, how can I find out about their accounts? |
| A |
Your instructor will be a CNU employee. They will be happy to provide you any information you need. They will also be happy to meet with you before or after the class to answer any questions. |
| Q |
What if I don't pass the test? Then what? |
| A |
You must wait 30 days to re-take the exam. You will not be eligible to open a deposit account at CNU until you have passed the exam. |
| Q |
Is there any reason CNU would not open a checking account for me even if I pass the test? |
| A |
Yes. You must comply with CNU's new account opening procedures. They include:
- 2 forms of ID (one must be a photo ID), both must be valid (not expired), and one of the approved forms for CNU.
- Make an initial deposit.
- Provide a street address — even if you receive your mail at a P.O. Box.
- Provide your social security number, ITIN or sign a W-8 form.
- Other requirements may apply. Please speak to your CNU representative to be sure. You may talk to them prior to taking the course.

| Q |
How much time will this take? |
| A |
The online course will take approximately 3 hours and you are allowed 60 minutes to take the exam. The exam is administered at several CNU branches. The face-to-face course is scheduled as two 2-hour sessions. The exam is in addition to this time. |
| Q |
How do I register? |
| A |
Go to "Onsite Instruction" then select "Classroom Program" or simply click HERE to begin. |
| Q |
Does each person have to register separately to attend the class? |
| A |
Yes. To get credit for your participation, each participant must separately register and follow all of the requirements of the program. There is no child care available at the class site; please do not bring any children. |
| Q |
If I pass the exam, can I open an account at any bank? |
| A |
The bank must participate in the Checking Network USA program in order to honor your certificate. You may want to call the bank to inquire before you make the trip. |
